Super cute place. I got the iced Nola (chickory root) and am already craving another one! My partner tried the banana milk in his latte and really enjoyed it.

Strange Matter Coffee Company is hands down my favorite coffee shop in East Lansing! I make sure to stop by every time I’m in town! The baristas are always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Their donuts and bakery selection are amazing, and everything I’ve tried has been so good. On top of that, the overall vibe of the shop is just unmatched. such a cool, cozy place to hang out. Highly recommend if you’re in the area! ☕️

My husband and I stopped in while traveling from Cleveland and tried donuts because the reviews said we had to! I had the samoa and he had the blueberry -- both were great! I am not a huge fan of yeast donuts because they are usually too soft and not dense enough; this was great! It wasn't hollow like Dunkin, it was a real donut. The coffee was great too! Dark roast espresso - I prefer a little lighter, but no complaints!! Love the queer friendly community space!

G'day! Finally my search for a decent coffee in Lansing is done. As an insufferable Melbournian, I can proclaim that this is indeed a decent coffee! The vegan donut was not bad either.

Stopped on Halloween on my way through town and had a great experience! Got a Cortado for there and an iced latte for the road, and both were great! They also had a great selection of spooky themed donuts in addition to the clearly big normal selection and the one I got was delightful as well. Staff was super friendly on top of that. Would happily come again!
